Constantly sported his high priced suits, the state that he was supposed to be representing had consistently been thrown to the wolves by Obama's cronies, one of which he most certainly was.
he may be missed by the Democrats in Congress and other two-faced republicans but he won't be missed by Hoosiers who have been referring to him as a "sore loser". Interestingly enough, Numbers USA also felt that Lugar was out of touch with serious issues facing American workers. Roy Beck's blog yesterday noted ..
Like many Senators who serve for many terms, Sen. Lugar was vulnerable to charges that he no longer had a good feel for the needs of his state's voters. The fact that his greatest reputation is in foreign policy didn't help.
His immigration actions accentuated both those identities because he used immigration as a kind of bargaining chit in his foreign policy gamemanship. The effect on U.S. workers didn't seem to ever come into play.
I certainly agree and say good riddance to another arrogant career politician.
