It was bad enough that the spend happy Democrat controlled Senate added so much pork and rammed it through with only a handful of true patriots with a backbone voting against it. Equally bad was the threat from the Senate that they would not consider any amendments to "their" bill. Bullies!
Why didn't the House, who was supposed to protect the taxpayer, read what was in it and stand up and to the Senate? Those in the House that voted for this bill are as spineless and as bad as the those in the Senate! What is the excuse? There wasn't time? BS!
Seriously, funding for NASCAR, who claims that it will create shovel-ready jobs? Enough jobs to off set the taxpayer money they are getting? Funding for Hollywood to use depressed areas of the country to film in? Are we talking about the same depressed areas of the country that are already on the Government entitlement dole. Sounds like a double whammy on the taxpayer!
This bill was supposed to save the middle class from increased taxes then why is the middle class going to slapped with more taxes along with high income earners. We vote these Senators and Representatives into office, we pay their salaries and they turn on the taxpayer like a pack of hungry wolves. They gave an excuse of how they hated the bill but had to pass it anyways just to get some camera time on the MSM news. Oh please, maybe the fools that voted for this administration believe that garbage but those Americans who see them for what they are are not taken in. We are ANGRY and with every right to be!
Everyone of them that voted for this bill should be publicly chastised daily and reminded that their position is on the line when their re-election comes due. Some of them are leaving on the 3rd but obviously they felt they just had to throw one more punch at the American people.
It is time that the American people start taking notice of what is going on in this government. Call, FAX,email, Tweet, Face Book message your Senators and Representatives at least once a week or more and tell them what you expect from them. Get involved! It only takes a couple of minutes of your time but will make a difference. Hold their feet to the fire at every turn and don't leave it to someone else to do the work! We have to stop them from pushing through their own or this administration's agenda!
